We love to get people active. Increasing particpation in physical activity helps create a healthier population. But getting the word out can be difficult. That’s where open data comes in.
Open data just means information which is available for everyone to access, use and share. Things like class times, location and cost would all be open data. Sensitive data such as names, emails and payment information would not be open data.
Opening your data simply means making it easier for people to find out about your activity when they search on the internet. The more people know about you, the more people are likely to join in!
