Organised activity is activity that is run at a predetermined time and day of the week. These sessions may be delivered by a qualified instructor or coach, or by be less structured. They include team sports such as rugby or netball, individual sports where you can still exercise in a group, such as a cycling club, or activity you just turn up and do at a set time, such as Parkrun. There is sometimes a charge for this type of session. They may not be suitable if you do not like being tied to certain days and times, or if for example you work on a shift rotation pattern. However, they can be a good way to meet people and getting into a regular routine can make it easier to keep going.
