Classes are great fun and can be used not only as an opportunity to exercise but also to socialise with your friends or make new ones. Classes can range from activity sessions in the local church hall such as Aerobics to classes outdoors such as a Hula Hoop session and are delivered via a qualified Instructor. Classes are usually set at a predetermined time and day of the week and can sometimes form part of a much bigger Physical Activity timetable that you could get involved in. There is sometimes a charge for this session or it can also form part of an overall membership package. As with Organised Activity, classes may not be suitable if you do not like being tied to certain days and times, or if for example you work on a shift rotation pattern. However, they can be a good way to meet people and getting into a regular routine can make it easier to keep going.
